RANY 40D is a dual-action formulation that combines Rabeprazole Sodium and Domperidone, making it effective for treating acid reflux, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and other conditions involving excess stomach acid and delayed gastric emptying.
Rabeprazole Sodium (40 mg): A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It helps in the treatment of acid reflux, heartburn, and GERD, and is also used for gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers. By inhibiting stomach acid production, it provides relief from the symptoms of acidity and heartburn.
Domperidone (30 mg): A prokinetic agent that promotes gastric motility by increasing the movement of food through the stomach and intestines. It is effective in preventing and treating nausea, vomiting, and gastrointestinal discomfort caused by delayed stomach emptying.
