Description
LOXIM-500 is a formulation of Cefuroxime Axetil (500mg), a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Cefuroxime Axetil is the oral prodrug of Cefuroxime, which is hydrolyzed to its active form in the body.
Cefuroxime Axetil (500mg): Cefuroxime works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, which leads to the destruction of the bacterial cells.
